(Hong Kong, 1 March, 2022) - The continuous outbreak of the epidemic in Hong Kong is causing disruption to the daily lives of its residents. Faced with a shortage of medical supplies and hospital beds, the central government has provided timely and comprehensive support by urgently dispatching an expert team to Hong Kong. The central government has assisted in the construction of eight quarantine and treatment facilities (mobile cabin hospitals), where Tsing Yi, former San Tin Shopping City, Yuen Long Tam Mei and Hung Shui Bridge are the first four locations for them to be built. Among these, the first hospital was completed on February 28 and is located at Lot 200 in Tsing Yi City. Phoenix Television (Phoenix TV), together with China Mobile Hong Kong (CMHK) used 5G technology to conduct a 24-hour broadcast at the construction site to exhibit China's concerns and its full support of Hong Kong's anti-epidemic work.

In order to produce the broadcast as soon as possible, Phoenix TV and CMHK formed a special team and made every effort to deploy network facilities. At the same time, Phoenix TV leveraged the advantages of integrating media to maximize online and offline synergies. On 25 February, Phoenix TV Information Channel, Fengshows App, Fengshows' YouTube official channel and Hong Kong V broadcast the construction of the mobile cabin hospital exclusively for the entire day. CMHK UTV App also joined the livestreaming on 26 February. The round-the-clock live broadcasts garnered positive feedback from Hong Kong residents and global Chinese.

Phoenix TV maintains a close partnership with CMHK, leveraging their advantages in respective fields. Both companies are cooperating to care for, serve and build up Hong Kong. The 5G live broadcast project of the mobile cabin hospital construction was not an easy task. The special live broadcast team overcame various difficulties in just a few days and successfully completed the assignment. Looking ahead, Phoenix TV and CMHK will continue to make positive contributions for a better Hong Kong together!
